Spaghetti
al dente, with a tasty pesto or spicy tuna fish sauce, or a pizza
with anyone of a dozen or more different toppings finished off
with a wonderful tirimisu pudding, we have a lot to thank the
Italians for! In just about every household at some time every
week, some form of Italian food will be prepared.
We also have to be thankful for the introduction
of the Italian balsamico vinegar and extra virgin olive oil. Noodles,
of course come in many different shapes and forms, not just the
popular spaghetti; another popular Italian dish is lasagne, using
sheets of noodles, bolognese sauce and a white cheese sauce.
