This
form of cooking is very quick, food is cooked normally in a third
of the time it takes with conventional methods of boiling.
The pressure cooker cooks the food under a
very high pressure, the steam that in normal saucepans escapes,
is kept in the top which is tightly secured and therefore the
food is cooked much quicker. Even cheap cuts of meat are tender
in a very short time.
