To
roast, one needs of course an oven! Meat and vegetables can be
roasted, this method differs from frying, because only a little
oil or fat is used and the food is then left in the oven to cook,
either quickly with a high temperature (over 200°c) or slowly.
Roasting gives the food a crispy outer coating,
eg. Roast potatoes, beef, chicken, leg of lamb, pork, mixed roast
vegetables, roast onions etc. etc.
