syrups can be made from eg. Oranges, lemons, strawberries, apricots
etc. Here is a recipe for cherry syrup.
Take 1 litre of cherries, stone them, add
½ litre of water and cook them with a ½ kg of sugar.
Conserve sugar is best as the syrup will then keep for longer.
When the cherries are cooked they are removed, they can be pureed
and put back into the syrup.
After cooling the syrup just needs to be added to mineral or still
water for a refreshing drink,. Cheers!
